Until recently, Pakistan has suffered great ups and downs in Socio-economic development and has been related significantly low in terms of the Human Development Index.A paradigm shift has been made by the present government towards knowledge based economy which can be achieved by developing knowledge inputs requiring appropriate human resources development in different streams.The most important thrust is laid upon re-orientation and upgrading of Education system to produce knowledge based work less, scientists and engineers and promote research and development of intervention standards.
